By applying for MediaCast’s Pro Bono for Purpose grant, entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
- Grants can be attributed to a registered charity that has not previously used MediaCast services.
- If the applicant’s key contact changes their place of employment during the judging process, they must advise MediaCast via grants@mediacast.com.au
- All accompanying materials must comply with the provisions of the Privacy Act (www.privacy.gov.au) and the Copyright Act (www.copyright.com.au).
- Applications and supporting documentation must be submitted no later than the specified closing dates. Entries will not be accepted nor considered after the closing deadline.
- Judges have discretion in assessing applications, applying the judging criteria, terms and conditions and determining the awarded organisations. MediaCast’s decision is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered in relation to decisions made.
- The assessment, conduct and results of the grant will not create any legal obligation between applicants and MediaCast.
- Judges are expected to declare any potential conflicts of interest and step aside from judging an entry where any conflict may occur.
- If an applicant who is judged and/or awarded a grant is subsequently found to have failed to satisfy or abide by the terms and conditions, they will not be entitled to the relevant award and their application will no longer be applicable. Consequently, MediaCast may present the relevant grant to another applicant or choose not to present the grant at all.
- By applying for the MediaCast Pro Bono for Purpose grant, each entrant acknowledges that their application is true, accurate, complete and original work, that any intellectual property rights arising in connection with that entry rest with the entrant and that the entry does not interfere with any third-party rights.
- MediaCast reserves the right to decline a submission or to disqualify an application at its absolute discretion, including, but not limited to, a situation where the acceptance of the submission may otherwise be detrimental to the objectives of MediaCast’s grant program.
- MediaCast reserves the right to publish and promote campaign outcomes.
- MediaCast, employees, officers and agents do not accept any liability, however arising, including liability for negligence, for any accident, loss, injury or damage arising at any time out of or in connection with this grant program, except for any liability that cannot, by law, be excluded.
- MediaCast reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions in any way, at any time, before the closing date for the grant submission. Applications for the MediaCast Pro Bono for Purpose Grants will be notified of any such amendments prior to the closing date.
- Entrants who breach any of these terms and conditions are subject to disqualification.
- The Grant value is not redeemable for cash.
